General Information & Regulation

GPT, a trading name of Global Pro Trader, is allegedly an unregulated and blacklisted forex and CFD broker registered in Italy that claims to provide its clients with over 250 tradable instruments with leverage up to 1:300 and floating spreads about 1.5 pips on the industry-standard MetaTrader4 trading platform, as well as a choice of three different live account types.

Market Instruments

GPT advertises that it offers more than 250 trading instruments, including 45 forex pairs and CFDs on indices, bonds, commodities, precious metals, stocks and lots of cryptocurrencies.

Account Types

Apart from demo accounts, there are three live trading account types offered by GPT, namely Basic, Gold and Platinum. However, the broker says nothing about the minimum initial deposit amount to open an account.

Leverage

A leverage ratio of up to 1:300 is offered by GPT, which is much higher than that provided by most brokers. Remember that the greater the leverage, the greater the risk of losing your deposited capital. The use of leverage can both work in your favour and against you.

Spreads

As tested with a demo account at GPT, the benchmark EUR/USD spread was floating about 1.5 pips.

Trading Platform Available

The platform available for trading at GPT is the worlds most widely-used MetaTrader4, compatible with desktop, web and mobile terminals. In any case, we recommend using MT4 or MT5 for your trading platform. Forex traders praise MetaTrader's stability and trustworthiness as the most popular forex trading platform. Expert Advisors, Algo trading, Complex indicators, and Strategy testers are some of the sophisticated trading tools available on this platform. There are currently 10,000+ trading apps available on the Metatrader marketplace that traders can use to improve their performance. By using the right mobile terminals, including iOS and Android devices, you can trade from anywhere and at any time through MT4 and MT5.

MT4

Deposit & Withdrawal

GPT says to accept deposits and withdrawals via credit cards like VISA and MasterCard, as well as wire transfers. The withdrawal processing time is said to be 3-8 business days.

Bonuses

GPT claims to offer some bonuses. However, the bonus can only be withdrawn while the minimum trade volume requirement is achieved. The broker also mentions in the Terms and Conditions that it maintains the right to change the terms of the bonus policy at any time.
