Abstract：Established in 1991, Sacombank is one of the first commercial banks established in HCMC based on the consolidation from Go Vap Economic Development Bank and 3 credit cooperatives: Tan Binh, Lu Gia and Thanh Cong with charter capital of VND 3 billion. Sacombank was the first commercial joint stock bank of Vietnam to list on Ho Chi Minh City Stock Exchange with stock code STB. Sacombank is one of the first 7 banks in Vietnam to be eligible to issue domestic cards equipped with EMV chip which optimizing the card information and enable contactless payment.
