I was trading in a Forex platform when the meeting minutes of Fed monetary policy were published on August 20. And I spent 20 minutes to make the trade, resulting in huge losses because of the huge gap in price. The case is that I bought two long orders of 10 lots at 21:08, then I felt something is wrong so I want to close five lots and see what the situation is . However I can’t close it. I bought short orders of 20 lots and locked my positions immediately, and the trade can’t be settled either. The trade was settled after a long time when the price went down a lot, I lost 85% of my funds, nearly forced liquidation. I was panicky for the platform was unavailable to my instructions, seeing more and more losses. I can earn tens of thousands yesterday if the platform responded to my instructions. Now my positions are wiped out. VT Markets keeps shrinking.
