Orbex, a Cyprus-based brokerage entity, has recorded 30 exposure complaints on WikiFX, a leading forex broker regulation inquiry tool, so far. Other review websites have also recorded a healthy number of complaints against the brokerage firm. These complaints largely talk about the alleged profit confiscations by the broker in the name of trading violations, difficulty in accessing fund withdrawals, capital losses due to artificial slippage, etc. In this Orbex review, we have investigated user complaints and provided a regulatory overview of the broker.

Orbex Broker Overview: What Markets Can Traders Access?

Orbex offers a host of brokerage products such as forex, commodities, stocks, and indices.

It allows forex traders to access a wide range of currency pairs. These include USD/CAD, USD/CHF, USD/CNH, USD/DKK, USD/HKD, USD/JPY, GBP/CHF, GBP/CAD, GBP/AUD, etc.

Commodities available for trading are gold, silver, platinum and palladium for investors.

If you are keen to invest in stocks, you can do so in a wide range of companies such as 3M, Adobe Systems, Activision, Adobe, AIG, AirBNB, Alibaba, Alphabet, AMD, etc.

Indices listed on the Orbex platform are US30, NAS 100, Germany 40, UK 100, SPX500, Australia 200 Cash Index, France 40 Cash Index, Euro 50 Cash Index, Spain 35 Cash Index, Japan 225 Cash Index and Hong Kong 50 Cash Index.

Orbex Trading Accounts

The brokerage firm offers three trading accounts to meet different trading needs of users. These are Starter, Premium and Ultimate. The table below demonstrates the specific offerings associated with each account.

Account TypeMinimum DepositMinimum SpreadMaximum LeverageCommissions
Starter$100Variable1:500Zero
Premium$5000.0 Pips1:500$8
Ultimate$25,0000.0 Pips1:500$5

Starter and Premium accounts, with a minimum deposit of $100 and $500, respectively, are likely for beginners. The Ultimate account with a minimum deposit requirement of $25,000, will likely be for one with a high capital in hand. The maximum leverage offered is impressive. Using this can help traders acquire wider market control with a lower margin. However, an overleveraged account runs the risk of being blown away should the broader market move against your open position. This situation remains evident in a volatile market.

Despite the offerings, the broker continues to receive negative reviews.

FCA Warns Swift TradeX on 1 September 2026: 7 Checks Before Paying

FCA warns Swift TradeX in a notice first published and updated on 1 September 2026. The UK Financial Conduct Authority says the firm may be providing or promoting financial services without permission, is not authorised, and may be targeting people in the UK. The notice names the website swifttradexai.com, a Worcester address and a UK telephone number, but also cautions that unauthorised businesses may use incorrect or borrowed contact details. The confirmed issue is authorisation status—not a court finding about every transaction. Anyone considering a payment should stop, verify the firm independently, and avoid using contact information supplied by the platform itself.
