Inspection Reason 

The surveyors continued its survey campaign as part of its efforts in inspecting the forex brokerage industry’s integrity. For this session,The surveyors went to Australia to visit the broker Bosmanfx. 

Office

Regulation details show that the Australia-based broker Bosmanfx has its head office based at Level 25, 264-278 George Street, SYDNEY.The survey team was sent there for a field survey. 

The site indicated by the address is a well-known landmark building in Sydney. The survey staff found that their destination was a relatively new office building with angular pillars in front of curved floor-to-ceiling lobby windows.

As the surveyors entered the building, they saw a directory sign in the lobby  listing names of the companies based here. After a careful search however, they did not find Bosmanfx’s name among them.

To double check, the surveyors still took an elevator to the 25th Floor as was indicated by the address, and found that the entire floor belonged to a company named Dexus, which at the time was holding an event in a circular event area. The surveyors asked Dexus’ staff whether Bosmanfx was here, but did not get responded.

Conclusion

A field survey did not find Bosmanfx’s physical presence. The broker claims to hold a general financial license from the Australia ASIC (238163), but we suspect that the claim is not true. We have checked with the regulator and discovered that the registration and licensing details appeared to belong to another entity. Since the company fails to show evidences of being under any effective regulation, we suggest that you use caution before dealing with it.
