Purpose

The Malaysian foreign exchange market is an emerging forex market that has developed in recent years. With the rapid economic growth in Southeast Asia, forex trading has gradually become more active in Malaysia. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in the region, an on-site inspection team visited Malaysia for field research.

Process

The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker FXGate in Malaysia as planned. According to public information, its office address is Level 2, LoT 19, Lazenda Commercial Centre, Phase 3, 87007 Labuan FT.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors' interests, meticulously planned and traveled to Malaysia to conduct an on-site verification of the trader FXGate purportedly located at Level 2, LoT 19, Lazenda Commercial Centre, Phase 3, 87007 Labuan FT.

The inspection personnel successfully arrived at the target building, which is not a traditional office building. The surrounding environment lacks a noticeable commercial atmosphere and appears relatively quiet. No company signage or related information of FXGate was found on the exterior of the building.

The surveyor entered the first floor of the building and explained their purpose to the security guard. However, since there was no signage or information about the company in the building, they were not granted permission to enter.

The inspector was unable to reach the target floor, thus could not confirm whether there were clear signs or security measures in the FXGate office area. Since access to the building was not possible, naturally, photos of the reception desk and its logo could not be taken, nor was there any information available regarding whether it is a shared office space.

Through the building's main entrance, the on-site inspectors were unable to observe the internal environment of the company and other related conditions.

Therefore, after on-site verification, it is confirmed that the dealer FXGate does not exist at the above address.

Conclusion

As planned, the field investigator visited the forex broker FXGate in Malaysia. However, no information such as the company name of the broker was found at its publicly displayed business address, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine operational premises. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
