Reason for this visit

According to the Reuters, the United Kingdom has expanded its leading position in the field of global FX trading in the years since it voted to leave the European Union. In addition, the British retail foreign exchange market has one of the world's three most stringent regulatory bodies, that is the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). Many FX dealers take obtaining FCA regulation for pride, and also hope to enter the country to develop market business. To help investors or practitioners have a more comprehensive understanding of the dealers in that country, the survey team is going to UK for site visits.

On-site visit

This time the survey team visited the dealer Sand Grove Capital in London, UK, with the specific address at 35 Dover STreeT 4Th Floor London W1S 4NQ UNITED KINGDOM.

According to the above address, the survey team came to the destination of this survey. It was not far from Buckingham Palace, just north of Green Park. Although it was in an alley away from the main street, the surveyors could see the name of the building in the distance. The space inside was not very large with a front desk. Also, the exterior of building and the facilities & decoration inside were rather old. However, the surveyors found the name of Sand Grove Capital on the directory of building. In the end, due to the COVID-19, the company could not be accessed internally but the office did exist.

Conclusion

The survey team went to London, UK, to visit the the dealer Sand Grove Capital and found the logo of dealer on the exhibition address, which indicated that the office of Sand Grove Capital did exist. However, the team was unable to enter the dealer's office so that the office scale and operation condition of which remained unknown. Please be prudent when trading with this broker.
