Purpose

The Thai forex market is an emerging foreign exchange market that has developed in recent years. With the continuous development of Thailand's economy and the gradual opening of its financial markets, foreign exchange trading has become increasingly active in Thailand. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in Thailand, the on-site inspection team traveled to Thailand for field visits.

Process

In this issue, the on-site inspection team went to Thailand as planned to conduct a field visit to the forex broker KGI. According to publicly available information, its office address is 195 One Bangkok Tower 4, 18th -19th Floor, Wireless Road, Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330.

A professional and experienced on-site visit team, driven by a sense of mission to strictly vet for investors, traveled to Thailand according to a well-planned schedule. Based on the aforementioned information, they conducted a field visit to the broker KGI.

The on-site personnel went to the target area based on the address information to conduct a physical verification of the broker KGI claiming to be located at the above address.

The on-site personnel successfully arrived at One Bangkok Tower 4. This building is located in the most bustling area of downtown Bangkok, with a prosperous surrounding environment and a strong commercial atmosphere. On the electronic screen outside the building, the LOGO of KGI company could be directly seen.

The on-site personnel entered the building lobby and stated their purpose to the security guard. Due to strict security and lack of prior appointment, the on-site personnel were not granted permission to enter the building's interior and go upstairs.

The attempt to reach the target floor was unsuccessful. The on-site personnel could not reach floors 18 - 19, and thus could not confirm whether there were clear signs in the office area of KGI company. As they could not enter the interior, they were unable to photograph the reception desk and its LOGO of KGI, and this office was not a shared office.

Although the company's internal environment could not be observed through the building's glass doors, the company logo could be seen from outside the building. The overall impression was that the company indeed exists at this location, consistent with its claimed positioning.

Therefore, after the on-site visit, it was confirmed that the broker KGI exists at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker KGI at its Thailand location as planned. At the publicly displayed business address, the broker's company logo and other information were visible, indicating that the broker has a genuine physical business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
