Purpose

The Indonesian forex market is an emerging foreign exchange market that has developed in recent years. With the continuous development of Indonesia's economy, the importance of foreign exchange trading in the financial sector has become increasingly prominent. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this region, the on-site inspection team conducted field visits in Indonesia.

Process

This time, the on-site inspection team went to Indonesia as planned to visit the forex broker TRFX Garuda Berjangka. According to public information, its office address is SOHO CAPITAL Office Building, Lantai 16 Unit (1607 – 1609) Jl. Letjen S Parman Kav 28 Grogol, Petamburan, Jakarta Barat, Indonesia 11470.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously vet for investors, proceeded according to a detailed plan to the SOHO CAPITAL Office Building in Indonesia to conduct a physical verification of the broker TRFX Garuda Berjangka which claimed to be located at this address.

The inspection personnel successfully arrived at the SOHO CAPITAL Office Building. Located in the downtown area of Indonesia, this building is an ultra-luxury office tower with a strong commercial atmosphere and a bustling environment in the surrounding area. However, no company signage or related information for TRFX Garuda Berjangka was found on the exterior of the building.

The inspection personnel entered the building lobby and, after stating their purpose to the security guard, obtained permission to enter. However, TRFX Garuda Berjangka was not found on the directory board inside the building directory, nor was its LOGO visible.

As no relevant guidance for the company was found within the building, the inspection personnel were unable to reach the specific floor and confirm the exact location, and thus could not enter the company's interior. It was impossible to photograph the reception area or LOGO of TRFX Garuda Berjangka, and the office was not a shared office space.

From the public area, the inspection personnel could not observe the company's internal office environment. Overall, the company actually located in the building they reached was a different one, not TRFX Garuda Berjangka.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker TRFX Garuda Berjangka does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Conclusion

The on-site inspection team visited the forex broker TRFX Garuda Berjangka in Indonesia as planned. At its publicly displayed business address, they were unable to see information such as the broker's company name, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
