Reasons for Field Survey
The Japanese foreign exchange market is one of the world's most important forex trading markets, boasting a long history, a mature financial system, and strict regulatory mechanisms. It holds a crucial position in the global forex market. With numerous participants and high trading activity, it is subject to strict oversight by regulatory agencies such as the Financial Services Agency of Japan, ensuring the market's standardized operation. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex dealers in the region, the field research team conducted an on-site visit to Japan.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field research team traveled to Tokyo as planned to conduct an on-site visit to BST Co., Ltd., a brokerage firm. Publicly available information indicates its office address is 9-10 Yotsuya 3-chome, Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, 160-0004.
Based on this address, the professional field research team, committed to fulfilling their responsibility to investors, conducted an on-site inspection of BST Co., Ltd.
The field research team traveled to the Yotsuya 3-chome area of Shinjuku-ku, Tokyo, and arrived at the building located at the address. This area boasts a vibrant business community and streets, a strong commercial atmosphere, and convenient transportation, making it one of Tokyo's key commercial districts. From the building's exterior, the field research team was able to capture a clear panoramic view of the building and found no BST Co., Ltd. signage.
The field research team attempted to enter the building's lobby but was unsuccessful, unable to verify the company's name on the lobby sign. Furthermore, no company information related to BST Co., Ltd. was found inside the building, and the company's logo was not visible either inside or outside.
Without access to the building, the inspection team was unable to reach the specific floor or confirm the location. Naturally, they were unable to enter the company, nor could they take photos of the reception desk or the reception logo. Without access, they had no idea of the company's internal office environment. After verification, it was determined that the location was not a shared office, further confirming that BST Co., Ltd. did not actually operate there.
Thus, the inspection confirmed that BST Co., Ltd. did not have a physical business location.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the Forex broker BST Co.,Ltd as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location.
