Минская улица, Lahoisk District, Minsk Region, Belarus
Reasons for Field Survey
Leveraging regional financial development, the Belarusian foreign exchange market has gradually established an operating system encompassing diverse institutions, making it a key venue for local investors to participate in foreign exchange transactions. To help investors gain a direct understanding of the true operational status of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Belarus.
Field Survey Process
This time, the on-site inspection team traveled to Belarus to conduct an on-site inspection of the forex broker FXPN. Publicly available information lists its office address as 223050 Minsk region, Kolodischi, Minskaya st. 69a-2, Office 34, Republic of Belarus.
Upholding the responsibility of rigorously verifying the broker's business location, the professional inspection team, in accordance with established plans and referring to the publicly available address, conducted an on-site inspection of FXPN to verify the broker's actual business location.
The inspection team traveled to the Kolodishchi district of Minsk Oblast, Belarus, and conducted an on-site inspection of FXPN, which claimed to be located at 223050 Minsk region, Kolodischi, Minskaya st. 69a-2, Office 34, Republic of Belarus. Upon arriving at the address, the surveyors found the area to be rural in Minsk, with ordinary surrounding streets. They were only able to capture a panoramic photo of the building. No company logos, signage, or signs related to FXPN were found on the exterior or in the surrounding area, confirming that the address was actually a supermarket.
The surveyors then entered the building (the supermarket's public area, similar to a lobby) and carefully scanned the area for company signs, but found no information indicating the FXPN presence. When they asked supermarket staff if FXPN was located in Office 34, they denied having heard of the company and were unaware of the existence of Office 34.
Although the surveyors attempted to locate the floor and location corresponding to Office 34 and reached the suspected floor, they found no office numbered 34, nor any signs or signs related to FXPN. Unable to locate the specific office location and given that the address was actually a supermarket, the surveyors were unable to enter the alleged company. Furthermore, the FXPN logo was absent from the building, both inside and outside. The inspectors were unable to determine whether it was a shared office, nor were they able to photograph the company's front desk or logo. Since FXPN does not actually exist, its internal office environment, number of rooms, and number of workstations could not be verified.
Based on the on-site inspection, the inspectors confirmed the address to be a supermarket, and despite a thorough search, they found no trace of FXPN's business operations.
Thus, the on-site inspection confirmed that FXPN did not exist at the aforementioned address, and concluded that the brokerage firm was a fictitious entity, lacking any real office or business location.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the Forex broker FXPN as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
