Reasons for Field Survey
The Japanese foreign exchange market is one of the world's most important forex trading markets, boasting a long history, a mature financial system, and strict regulatory mechanisms. It holds a crucial position in the global forex market. With numerous participants and high trading activity, it is subject to strict oversight by regulatory agencies such as the Financial Services Agency of Japan, ensuring the market's standardized operation. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex dealers in the region, the field research team conducted an on-site visit to Japan.
Field Survey Process
This time, the inspection team traveled to Tokyo as planned to visit the broker Fulton FX. Publicly available information indicates its office address is 33F, Shinjuku Mainz Tower, 2-1-1 Yoyogi, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
Based on this address, the professional inspection team, committed to fulfilling their responsibility to investors, conducted an on-site inspection of Fulton FX.
The inspection team traveled to the Yoyogi area of Shibuya-ku, Tokyo, and arrived at Shinjuku Mainz Tower. The building is located directly adjacent to the Shinjuku Station subway entrance. The corporate campus and streetscape are bustling, and the surrounding area boasts a vibrant commercial atmosphere, with a dense concentration of commercial facilities and office buildings. From the exterior, the inspection team was able to capture a clear panoramic view of the building and found no Fulton FX signage.
The inspection team successfully entered the building lobby, which met the standards of a high-end commercial building. However, upon checking the lobby sign, the Fulton FX company name was not visible.
The inspection team proceeded to Step 33 and successfully reached the specific floor and confirmed its location. However, they were unable to enter the building, nor were they able to take photos of the reception desk or its logo. The company's logo was not visible anywhere inside or outside the building. The location was confirmed to be not a shared office, further confirming that Fulton FX did not actually operate there.
Thus, the inspection confirmed that Fulton FX did not have a physical business location.
