Minsk, Minsk Region, Belarus
Reasons for Field Survey
Leveraging regional financial development, the Belarusian foreign exchange market has gradually established an operating system encompassing diverse institutions, making it a key venue for local investors to participate in foreign exchange transactions. To help investors gain a direct understanding of the true operational status of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Belarus.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field research team traveled to Belarus as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Alpari. Publicly available information lists its office address as 220004, Minsk, Pobediteley Ave. 7a, office 39.
Upholding the responsibility of rigorous verification for investors, the professional field research team conducted an on-site visit to Alpari, based on a pre-defined plan and using the publicly available address information, with the goal of revealing the broker's true operations.
The field research team traveled to Minsk, Belarus, and conducted an on-site verification of Alpari's office address, which was stated as 220004, Minsk, Pobediteley Ave. 7a, office 39. Notably, the address is located in Minsk's Red Ribbon Square, adjacent to the city hall. It is located in the local economic center and has a bustling surrounding streetscape. The field research team was able to capture panoramic photos of the building.
Alpari's logo was not visible on the exterior of the building, but upon entering the lobby, the field research team clearly observed a company sign with Alpari's information. After explaining their purpose to the lobby staff, the inspectors were granted permission to take the elevator to the designated floor, where they accurately confirmed the location of the company's office, Office 39.
Upon arrival, the inspectors discovered that the office was not a shared space but rather a dedicated space for Alpari, and they successfully photographed the reception desk, which bore the company logo. However, due to restrictions, the inspectors were unable to enter the office interior, and therefore were unable to observe the details of the internal office environment or to count the number of rooms or workstations.
Based on the overall environment and on-site information, Alpari's business information was clearly visible, demonstrating its existence as a legitimate brokerage firm.
Thus, the inspection confirmed that Alpari existed at the aforementioned address and had a physical office.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited Alpari as planned and observed the broker's company name and logo displayed prominently at the publicly shown business address, indicating the physical presence of the broker's business. Investors are advised to take all factors into consideration before making a decision.
