Purpose
The Hong Kong, China foreign exchange market is a mature and internationalized forex market that developed in the 1970s. As an important global offshore financial hub, it features a sound regulatory system, free cross-border capital flows, and diverse market participants, making it one of the core gathering places for forex trading in the Asia-Pacific region. In order to help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operating conditions of forex dealers in the region, the field inspection team traveled to Hong Kong, China to conduct an on-site visit.
Process
In this issue, the on-site inspection team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker CSV Markets. According to public information, its office address is unit b1 on 7th floor, hang fung industrial building phase, no. 2g hok yuen street, hunghom, kowloon, hong kong.
A professional and experienced on-site verification team, with a sense of mission to strictly vet for investors and following a meticulous plan, traveled to Hong Kong, China. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker CSV Markets claiming to be located at unit b1 on 7th floor, hang fung industrial building phase, no. 2g hok yuen street, hunghom, kowloon, hong kong.
They successfully arrived at Hang Fung Industrial Building, which is located at No. 2G Hok Yuen Street, Hung Hom. The surrounding area is an old industrial-commercial mixed district in Hong Kong, with an ordinary overall environment and average commercial atmosphere.
A full view of the building was photographed from outside; throughout, no company signage or related promotional information bearing CSV Markets was found.
The on-site verification personnel entered the ground floor lobby of the building, stated their purpose to the security guard, completed visitor registration, and successfully obtained permission to enter the building. They carefully checked the floor directory signs and company directory board areas throughout the lobby, but found no registration information related to CSV Markets at all.
After arriving at the target 7th floor, the on-site verification personnel walked through all office areas on that floor, found no obvious signage of CSV Markets, and no corresponding Unit B1 markings pointing to the broker. Since no contact person from the company was found on site, they could not enter the so-called company interior, and had no opportunity to photograph the broker's reception desk or the LOGO at the reception desk. The office area was also not a shared office.
Looking through the glass door of the corresponding Unit B1 on that floor, there were no signs or office traces related to CSV Markets inside, which is completely inconsistent with the broker's claimed positioning of operating here.
After arrival, it was confirmed to be the publicly listed address, but throughout no information about the broker was found. After asking the security guard, the guard also clearly stated that the company was not in the building, and it was determined that the broker's registered address was false. Therefore, after the on-site verification, it was confirmed that broker CSV Markets does not exist at the above address.
Conclusion
The field inspection team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker CSV Markets. At its publicly displayed business address, they could not see any relevant information such as the broker's company name, indicating that the broker does not have a real business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
