Purpose
Hong Kong, China's foreign exchange market is a mature offshore forex market that developed in the 1970s. As one of the world's important financial hubs, it has distinctive features such as a well-established regulatory system, a high degree of freedom in cross-border capital flows, and strong institutional concentration, making it a core region of key interest to forex investors and practitioners at home and abroad. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of the forex brokers in this region, the field inspection team traveled to Hong Kong, China for an on-site visit.
Process
In this issue, the on-site inspection team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker GUODU Futures. According to public information, its office address is Room 1307, Bank of America Tower, 12 Harcourt Road, Central, Hong Kong.
A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to strictly safeguard investors' interests, traveled to Hong Kong, China, under a thorough plan. It conducted an on-site verification of broker GUODU FUTURES, which claims to be located at Room 1307, Bank of America Tower, 12 Harcourt Road, Central, Hong Kong.
The on-site inspection team successfully arrived at Bank of America Tower, which is located in the core commercial area of Central. Surrounded by numerous high-rise buildings and supported by many financial institutions and business service outlets, it has a strong commercial atmosphere. The team captured a complete panoramic view of the building and conducted a full search around the exterior of the building, but found no company signage or brand information related to GUODU FUTURES.
The on-site inspection team entered the ground-floor lobby of the building and explained their purpose to the security guard. After a simple information registration, they successfully obtained permission to enter the building's office area.
After arriving at the target floor, the 13th floor, the on-site inspection team confirmed the exact location of Room 1307. Throughout the process, they found no obvious signage or related brand presence in GUODU FUTURES's office area, nor did they find the company's name label on the floor directory board. Due to the management requirements of the office area, they could not enter Room 1307; no photos were taken of the reception desk or its LOGO throughout the process, and the premises are not a shared office.
Observing through the exterior glass door of Room 1307, it was impossible to clearly see the actual internal environment of the company. The relevant area does not allow outside personnel to enter and inspect at will, and the overall situation is completely inconsistent with the office address positioning publicly claimed by the broker.
Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it is confirmed that broker GUODU FUTURES does not exist at the above address.
Conclusion
The on-site inspection team went to Hong Kong, China as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker GUODU Futures. At the business address publicly displayed by the broker, they could not see the company name or other information of the broker. After asking the building security guard, they learned that this company had never been established at that address, indicating that the broker does not have real business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
