Reasons for Field Survey

The Turkish foreign exchange market is an emerging market that has developed in recent years. With the growth of Turkey's economy and the opening of its financial markets, foreign exchange trading has gradually become active in the country. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of foreign exchange brokers in the region, the on-site inspection team visited Turkey for a field investigation.

Field Survey Process

The on-site inspection team went to Turkey as planned to visit the forex broker APX. According to public information, its office address is Cinar Mh. Rifki Tongsir Cd. No:113 B Maltepe Istanbul / Turkiye.

A professional and experienced on-site inspection team, driven by a sense of mission to rigorously safeguard investors' interests, traveled to Turkey according to a well-planned itinerary. Based on the aforementioned information, they conducted an on-site visit to the dealer APX.

The field investigator proceeded to the target area based on the address information to conduct an on-site verification of the dealer APX who claimed to be located at Cinar Mh. Rifki Tongsir Cd. No:113 B Maltepe Istanbul / Turkiye.

The field survey personnel successfully arrived at the target building, which is located in the Maltepe district of Istanbul, Turkey. The surrounding environment cannot be described due to the absence of an office, and the commercial atmosphere is also difficult to assess. No company logo or related information was found on the exterior of the building.

The field investigator entered the building lobby and stated their purpose to the security guard. After communication, they obtained permission to enter.

Although I can enter the company lobby, there is no company directory inside the building. Since it is impossible to confirm the specific floor, it is also impossible to reach the specific floor and confirm the exact location, let alone enter the company's interior. I cannot take a photo of the reception desk and its logo, and this office is not a shared office.

The inspector attempted to understand the company's situation in the lobby but was unable to ascertain the internal office environment. Upon arrival, they compared it with Google Maps to confirm the address. After inquiries, it was discovered that there was no such company, leading to the conclusion that it was fraudulent.

Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the dealer APX does not exist at the aforementioned address.

Field Survey Summary

The on-site inspection personnel went to Turkey as planned to visit the forex broker APX. At the publicly displayed business address, they did not see the company name or other information of the broker, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business location. Investors are advised to make their choices after comprehensive consideration.
