Reasons for Field Survey
Leveraging its strengths in tourism and international trade, Thailand's foreign exchange market has steadily grown, becoming a vital component of Southeast Asia's financial landscape and attracting numerous international financial institutions. To help investors accurately understand the actual performance of brokers in the region and mitigate the risks associated with information bias, a field research team conducted a field visit to Bangkok, Thailand.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field inspection team traveled to Thailand as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker JuraTrade. Publicly available information lists its office address as 28 Chit Lom Alley, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand.
Upholding the responsibility of rigorously verifying the broker's business location, the professional field inspection team, in accordance with established plans and referencing the publicly available address, conducted an on-site visit to JuraTrade to verify the broker's actual business location.
The field inspection team traveled to the Lumpini area of Pathum Wan District, Bangkok, Thailand, and conducted an on-site inspection of JuraTrade, which claimed to be located at 28 Chit Lom Alley, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330, Thailand. Upon arrival, the field inspection team successfully captured panoramic photos of the building. However, no JuraTrade-related corporate campus was found on site, and no commercial office signs were found on the building exterior or in the surrounding area.
When attempting to enter the building, the field inspection team was stopped by security and informed that the lobby area was not open to the public. The surveyors subsequently inquired with on-site security and residents of the building, receiving a clear response: this is a long-term rental apartment, intended for residential use only, not an office area. No company offices have ever been located within the building, and no one has heard of the JuraTrade brokerage.
Because they were unable to enter the building, the surveyors neither saw the company signage nor could they confirm the alleged office floor and specific location. The JuraTrade logo was absent from the building, and it was impossible to photograph a reception desk or logo bearing the company's logo. Furthermore, since the building is a residential apartment, there is no possibility of a shared office, and the internal office environment, number of rooms, or number of workstations are unavailable.
Based on the on-site verification, the address claimed by JuraTrade is actually a long-term rental apartment, devoid of any office use, and no trace of the company's business operations was found.
Thus, the survey confirmed that JuraTrade does not exist at the aforementioned address, and concluded that the brokerage is a fictitious entity, lacking any real office or business premises.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the JuraTrade as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
