Reasons for Field Survey
The Japanese foreign exchange market is one of the world's most important forex trading markets, boasting a long history, a mature financial system, and strict regulatory mechanisms. It holds a crucial position in the global forex market. With numerous participants and high trading activity, it is subject to strict oversight by regulatory agencies such as the Financial Services Agency of Japan, ensuring the market's standardized operation. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex dealers in the region, the field research team conducted an on-site visit to Japan.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field research team traveled to Tokyo, Japan, as planned, to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Beetcy Metric. Publicly available information lists its office address as Dogenzaka 1-chome, Shibuya-ku, Tokyo.
Dedicated to ensuring stringent investor protection, the professional and experienced field research team traveled to Tokyo according to a carefully planned visit. Based on the aforementioned information, they conducted an on-site visit to Beetcy Metric.
Based on the address information, the field research team traveled to the Dōgenzaka 1-chome area in Shibuya Ward, Tokyo, to conduct an on-site verification of the broker Beetcy Metric claimed to be located at the aforementioned address.
The field research team successfully reached their target area, which was surrounded by numerous commercial buildings and generally considered average. Because the surrounding buildings were easily recognizable, the field research team successfully captured a panoramic view of the relevant building.
However, because public information only provided street-level information, lacking specific building numbers and floors, the field research team was unable to accurately locate the specific office building. The field research team attempted to enter the lobbies of several surrounding commercial buildings but was unsuccessful. Without access to the lobby, it was naturally impossible to verify the presence of Beetcy Metric information on the signage.
Due to incomplete address information, the on-site inspection personnel were unable to confirm the specific floor location or enter any potential company premises. Throughout the inspection, no Beetcy Metric logo or related signage was found, either on the exterior of the building within the area or inside, where they were unable to enter. Furthermore, no photographs of the alleged reception desk or its logo were taken.
Thus, the on-site inspection confirmed that the trading company Beetcy Metric did not exist at the aforementioned address.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the Beetcy Metric as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
