Purpose

The UAE foreign exchange market is an emerging international forex market that has developed over the past two decades. Leveraging Dubai's geographical advantage as a financial hub in the Middle East, it has attracted a large number of forex dealers from around the world, radiating across the entire Middle East, North Africa, and surrounding regions, with a high degree of market openness and strong cross-border trading activity. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex dealers in the region, we conducted an on-site visit to the UAE.

Process

This visit, as planned, goes to the UAE to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker Profit FX. According to public information, its office address is AL JAWHARA BUILDING 207, 2nd Floor, Mankhool, Bank Street, Near ADCB Bank, Bur Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

A professional and experienced inspection team, carrying the mission of acting as a strict gatekeeper for investors, traveled to the United Arab Emirates according to a well-organized plan. It conducted an on-site verification of the broker Profit FX, which claims to be located at AL JAWHARA BUILDING 207, 2nd Floor, Mankhool, Bank Street, Near ADCB Bank.

The inspectors successfully arrived at the target building, AL JAWHARA BUILDING. Located in the bustling core area of Dubai, it is a high-end luxury office building with a strong commercial atmosphere. It is adjacent to ADCB Bank and is complemented by well-developed street-front facilities.

No company signage or promotional information related to Profit FX was found outside the building; only the building's own nameplate was visible.

The inspectors entered the lobby on the first floor of the building and stated their purpose to the on-site staff. After completing a simple registration, they were granted access to the lobby.

The first floor of the building has a complete floor directory board, clearly listing the names of all tenant companies and their corresponding room numbers. After a careful check, no name markings related to Profit FX were found at all, nor was there any directional information pointing to the broker's office area.

Since the directory board contained no registration information for the company, and the on-site security personnel could not provide access directions to the corresponding office area, the inspectors could not go to the target location on the 2nd floor to confirm the specific office. Throughout the process, no reception area bearing any Profit FX signage was found, nor could they photograph the reception desk or its LOGO. This office space does not fall within the scope of a shared office.

Because access to the corresponding office area could not be obtained, the inspectors were completely unable to enter the space marked as 207 in the building, nor could they observe the internal environment of that room.

Therefore, after the inspection, it was confirmed that the broker Profit FX does not exist at the abovementioned publicly listed address.

Conclusion

The inspection personnel visited the forex broker Profit FX in the UAE as planned. At its publicly displayed business address, they did not see the broker's company name or other information, indicating that the broker does not have a real business premise. Investors are advised to make their decisions after comprehensive consideration.
