Reasons for Field Survey
Hong Kong, being an international financial center, is home to one of the most significant forex markets globally. Characterized by high internationalization, active trading, and strict regulation, it holds a pivotal position in global forex trading. To assist investors in gaining a comprehensive and precise understanding of forex brokers in this region, the surveyors conducted field surveys in Hong Kong.
Field Survey Process
This issue's inspection team traveled to Hong Kong as planned to conduct an on-site visit to Finemetal Asia, a brokerage firm. Publicly available information indicates its office address is 43-59 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
The professional and experienced inspection team, driven by a sense of responsibility to rigorously verify the integrity of investors, followed a carefully crafted plan and traveled to Hong Kong. Based on the aforementioned address, they conducted an on-site inspection of Finemetal Asia.
Based on the address information, the inspection team traveled to the Wan Chai area of Hong Kong and conducted an on-site inspection of the brokerage firm, which claimed to be located at 43-59 Queen's Road East, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.
The inspection team successfully arrived at the building located on Queen's Road East in Wan Chai, Hong Kong, offering convenient transportation, an average corporate campus/street environment, and a generally acceptable business atmosphere. From the exterior, the inspection team successfully captured a panoramic view of the building, but did not observe any signage related to Finemetal Asia.
The inspection team entered the building lobby smoothly, without any complex procedures. In the lobby, the surveyors carefully examined the signage but did not find the company name of Finemetal Asia. Furthermore, no Finemetal Asia logo was found inside or outside the building.
The surveyors attempted to visit the area listed as the company's publicly available address. Although they were able to take the elevator directly to the 17th floor, they were unable to confirm the specific location of Finemetal Asia's offices. Since the 17th floor was actually occupied by another company, they were unable to enter the alleged Finemetal Asia office. The building's overall appearance indicated that the address was not a shared office, and no photos of the reception desk bearing the Finemetal Asia logo could be seen from the outside or any other observable angles.
The surveyors' on-site observations confirmed that the 17th floor was occupied by another company and that no signs of Finemetal Asia's presence were found there. Overall, the company's presence at the aforementioned address was confirmed.
Thus, the survey confirmed that the trader Finemetal Asia did not exist at the aforementioned address.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the Forex broker Finemetal Asia as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
