To help investors and practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operating conditions of forex brokers in this region, the on-site inspection team traveled to Dubai, UAE for a field visit.

Process

In this issue, the site inspection team went to the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site visit to forex broker Big Lot Ltd. According to public information, its office address is Office No- R308 Bldg, Bank Street Road, Burjuman, Dubai, UAE. PO BOX 46162.

A professional and experienced team, guided by a mission to strictly protect investors, traveled to Dubai, UAE, in accordance with careful planning to conduct an on-site inspection of the broker Big Lot Ltd claimed to be located at the above address.

The team successfully arrived at the target building. The location is in a mature commercial center area of Dubai, with a clean overall surrounding environment and a moderate business atmosphere.

Outside the building, no company signage or any related information about Big Lot Ltd was found at all, nor was there any floor directory notice indicating the corresponding office number R308.

The team entered the first-floor lobby of the building, stated their purpose to the on-site staff, and after simple information registration and communication, successfully obtained entry permission.

While attempting to proceed to the target third floor, it was found that no clear floor signage or any company nameplate bearing the name of Big Lot Ltd was posted in the building. It was impossible to locate the so-called R308 office area, and the team ultimately could not reach the corresponding specific floor to confirm the location.

Since no appointment had been made in advance and the ownership of the corresponding room could not be verified, the team could not enter the broker's internal office area. Additional note: it was completely impossible to photograph the broker's front desk or the front desk LOGO; it was only confirmed that the building contains a shared office.

Through the lobby's wayfinding and observation of public areas, no clues to office space related to Big Lot Ltd were found, and the broker's internal environment could not be viewed either. The overall situation is completely inconsistent with its publicly claimed office address positioning.

Therefore, after the site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker Big Lot Ltd does not exist at the above publicly stated address.

Conclusion

The team visited the UAE as planned to conduct an on-site inspection of forex broker Big Lot Ltd, but did not see the broker's company name or any related information at its publicly displayed business address, indicating that the broker does not have a real place of business. Investors should consider all relevant factors before making a decision.
