Reasons for Field Survey
The Japanese foreign exchange market is one of the world's most important forex trading markets, boasting a long history, a mature financial system, and strict regulatory mechanisms. It holds a crucial position in the global forex market. With numerous participants and high trading activity, it is subject to strict oversight by regulatory agencies such as the Financial Services Agency of Japan, ensuring the market's standardized operation. To help investors gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual operations of forex dealers in the region, the field research team conducted an on-site visit to Japan.
Field Survey Process
This issue's field research team traveled to Tokyo as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the brokerage firm PFG. Publicly available information indicates its office address is 1-8-12 Harumi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo.
Dedicated to fulfilling our responsibility to investors, the professional field research team conducted an on-site inspection of PFG based on the aforementioned address.
The field research team traveled to the Harumi area of Chuo-ku, Tokyo, and arrived at the building at the address. The building is a prestigious office building in the area, boasting a luxurious corporate campus and streetscape, and a vibrant commercial atmosphere, embodying the hallmarks of a high-end business district. From the exterior, the field research team was able to capture a clear panoramic view of the building and did not observe any PFG logo.
The field research team attempted to enter the building lobby but was unsuccessful, preventing them from carefully examining the lobby sign. External sources revealed that the PFG company name was not displayed on the sign.
Unable to access the building or the target floor, the field research team was unable to reach the specific floor or confirm their location. Consequently, they were unable to enter the building interior, nor were they able to photograph the front desk or its logo. The company's logo was not visible inside or outside the building. We confirmed that the location was not a shared office, further confirming that PFG did not actually conduct business there.
Thus, our on-site inspection confirmed that PFG did not have a physical business location.
Field Survey Summary
The surveyors visited the Forex broker PFG as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
