Traders conduct forex transactions through various modern communication facilities and computer networks. Hong Kongs geographical location and time zone conditions are similar to those of Singapore, making it very convenient to trade with other international forex markets. Participants in Hong Kong forex market are mainly commercial banks and financial companies. There are three types of forex brokers in this market: local brokers, whose business is limited to Hong Kong; international brokers who have expanded their business to the Hong Kong forex market since the 1970s; international brokers that grow locally and has expanded their business to forex markets abroad. In an attempt to help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of current status of forex brokers in Hong Kong, WikiFX survey team determines to pay on-site visits to local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to Hong Kong, China to visit broker TOPWEALTH as planned according to its regulatory address that Suite 1109, 11/F, Block A, Fulgor Industrial Centre, 21 Man Lok Street, Hung Hom, Kowloon, Hong Kong.

A seasoned and professional inspection team, committed to safeguarding investor interests, conducted a meticulously planned on-site verification of the prominent forex broker TOPWEALTH at 21 Man Lok Street in Hung Hom, Kowloon.

The target address is located in the core commercial and industrial district of Hung Hom, characterized by high pedestrian traffic and a vibrant business atmosphere. The surrounding area is a mix of dining, retail, residential, and educational facilities, with convenient transportation and well-developed infrastructure. Fulgor Industrial Centre is a modern commercial-industrial building with clear exterior signage and a bustling environment.

Upon arrival, the investigators first entered the ground-floor lobby, where an electronic directory clearly indicated that Suite 1109 was registered under “TOPWEALTH BULLION LIMITED”. Taking the elevator to the 11th floor, the team found that the public directory on this level also displayed the company name at Unit 1109, matching the registered address and initially confirming its legitimacy.

In the 11th-floor corridor, the doorplate of Unit 1109 prominently displayed the company‘s full name in both Chinese and English, along with the “CGSE Membership No. 184”. The company’s logo was also visible beside the door. Although there were no additional external markings, the companys identification was complete and clear.

The investigators attempted to enter the office but was not granted access. Due to restricted entry, observations were limited to the exterior view and gaps around the door. The interior appeared to have a minimalist design, but specific details (e.g., workstation count, room layout) could not be assessed. However, the companys logo was visible in the reception area, further verifying its physical presence. Additionally, the office was confirmed to be an independent workspace (not a shared office).

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that TOPWEALTH maintains a physical presence at the above address.

Conclusion

The survey team went to Hong Kong, China to visit broker TOPWEALTH as scheduled and found the company at its regulatory address. It denotes that the broker has a physical office at the place. Meanwhile, investors are advised to make a well-considered decision following much deliberation.
