Reason for this visit

Cyprus purchased Greek national debt non-prudently in 2012. When the Greek national debt management defaulted, the Cyprus banking system suffered heavy losses, exceeding 30% of Cyprus’s GDP, and the country’s domestic debt crisis arose. In response to the crisis, the Cypriot government introduced a terrible solution that was opposed by all people, aggravating the crisis. At the same time, some people in Cyprus discovered that various cryptocurrencies whose prices are in an upward cycle, independent of sovereign currencies, may be able to cope with this crisis, so some funds poured into the small cryptocurrency market in an attempt to avoid risks and protect themselves. Gradually, Cyprus has become an active country for cryptocurrency transactions. In order to help investors learn more about the current status of the cryptocurrency exchanges in Cyprus, the survey team is going to Cyprus for site visits.

Office Building

This time the survey team visited the dealer eXcentral in Limassol, the second largest city in Cyprus, with specific address at Agiou Athanasiou, 66 Toumazis Linopetra Building, 4102, Limassol,Cyprus.   

On-site visit

The surveyors followed the address on the regulatory information to a three-story office building. eXcentral's office was located on the east side of Limassol, Cyprus, a short distance from the bypass highway exit. The exterior of the building was relatively old, but the interior was high-end.

Through the door phone on the 1st floor, the surveyors contacted eXcentral's marketing department. Due to the epidemic, they refused the surveyors to visit the company, but allowed them to go upstairs to photograph the exterior of the office.

On the elevator in the building, the surveyors found the nameplate of eXcentral, which was consistent with the floor they disclosed.

At various places in the building, the surveyors found the logo of the dealer eXcentral, and they also contacted the trader by phone. Unfortunately, the surveyors were unable to gain access to eXcentral's interior. However, what was certain was that the dealer's office did exist.

Conclusion

The physical address of eXcentral, a licensed dealer in Cyprus, was the same as the regulatory address. According to the on-site survey, the dealer's office premise was real and conveniently located. Investors can make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
