Reasons for Field Survey

The Russian foreign exchange market is one of the most important financial markets in Eastern Europe. Leveraging its abundant energy resources and growing economy, the Russian forex trading business has gradually flourished, attracting numerous international and local traders. To help investors gain a deeper understanding of the actual operations of forex brokers in the region, a field research team conducted an on-site visit to Russia.

Field Survey Process

This issue's field research team traveled to Moscow as planned to conduct an on-site visit to the brokerage firm AKBF. Publicly available information indicates its office address is 17 Moscow Street, Odessa Street, D.2, Korupsy Street (17th Floor, Building B, 2 Odessa Street, Moscow).

Based on this address, the professional field research team, committed to fulfilling their responsibility to investors, conducted an on-site inspection of AKBF.

The field research team traveled to the Odessa Street area of Moscow and arrived at the building located at the address. The corporate campus and streetscape in this area have a relatively average business atmosphere. From the building's exterior, the field research team was able to capture a clear panoramic view of the building and found no AKBF signage.

The field research team successfully entered the building lobby and, while they were able to photograph the lobby sign, they could not find the AKBF company name. The company's logo was also not visible inside or outside the building.

Due to the lack of information on the signage, the surveyors were unable to reach the specific floor (17th floor) and confirm the location. Naturally, they were unable to enter the company, nor were they able to take photos of the reception desk or its logo. Without access, they had no idea of the company's internal office environment. After verification, it was determined that the location was not a shared office, further confirming that akbf did not actually operate there.

Thus, the survey confirmed that the trading company akbf did not have a physical business location.

Field Survey Summary

The surveyors visited the akbf as planned. They could not find the broker's company name and other information at its publicly displayed business place, indicating that the broker does not have a real business location. Investors are advised to consider this information comprehensively before making decisions.
