On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to Hong Kong, China to visit forex broker YUEXIU SECURITIES as planned according to its regulatory address that Unit 4917-4937, 49/F, Sun Hung Kai Centre, 30 Harbour Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong.

However, no company name or logo related to YUEXIU SECURITIES was found on the exterior of the building.

To ensure a thorough inspection, the investigators entered the grand lobby inside the building without let or hindrance and quickly located “YUEXIU SECURITIES” clearly listed on the 49th floor in the buildings directory.

To gain a more comprehensive understanding of the actual situation, the inspection team then proceeded to the 49th floor. After taking the elevator directly to the designated level, they successfully found Units 4917-4937, with clear signage pointing to YUEXIU SECURITIES. The area was dedicated exclusively to the companys operations, not a co-working space, aligning with the independence and security requirements expected of a financial institution.

Posing as potential investors interested in opening an account, the investigators entered the company‘s reception area. The front desk was professionally designed, with the company’s logo prominently displayed on the backdrop. After expressing their intention to open an account to the reception staff, a manager from the company came out to assist. During the conversation, the manager provided detailed information on the required documentation, account opening procedures, and related services. The exchange proceeded smoothly, with the manager demonstrating professionalism, leaving the survey team with the impression of a well-regulated operation. The interior decor was conservative and professional, and through the open workspace, the investigators observed a clean and orderly office environment.

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that the broker maintains a physical presence at the above address.

Conclusion
