Reason for this visit

Hong Kongs geographical location and time zone conditions are similar to those of Singapore, making it very convenient to trade with other international forex markets. Participants in Hong Kong forex market are mainly commercial banks and financial companies. There are three types of forex brokers in this market: local brokers, whose business is limited to Hong Kong; international brokers who have expanded their business to the Hong Kong forex market since the 1970s; international brokers that grow locally and has expanded their business to forex markets abroad. In an attempt to help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of current status of forex brokers in Hong Kong, WikiFX survey team determines to pay on-site visits to local companies.

On-site visit

In this issue, the survey team went to Hong Kong, China to visit broker SUNWAH KINGSWAY as planned according to its regulatory address that 7/F, Tower One Lippo Centre, 89 Queensway, Hong Kong.

A seasoned and professional inspection team, committed to safeguarding investor interests, conducted a meticulously planned on-site verification of the prominent forex broker SUNWAH KINGSWAY at Tower One Lippo Centre in Hong Kong.

The team arrived at Hong Kong's Admiralty financial and business district. As a core commercial hub of the city, the area is densely populated, surrounded by financial institutions, high-end office buildings, dining establishments, and residential facilities, presenting a vibrant and highly commercialized environment. The Lippo Centre, one of the districts landmark buildings, features a modern glass curtain wall design, contributing to the dense urban skyline alongside neighboring financial towers. The investigators first conducted an external inspection around the Lippo Centre. The building was well-maintained, with clear signage at its entrance.

Upon entering the spacious ground-floor lobby, the team observed an electronic directory screen and a traditional directory board. Verification confirmed that the board clearly listed “Sunwah Kingsway Capital Holdings Limited” on the 7th floor. The lobby had a robust security system, though public areas remained freely accessible without special permits.

After taking the elevator to the 7th floor, the team noticed prominent signage displaying “SUNWAH KINGSWAY,” including the company logo, further confirming its presence in the building. While no additional advertisements were visible inside or outside the building, the dedicated floor signage sufficiently verified the office location. 

When attempting to enter the office, the team was informed that prior appointments were required, preventing access to the internal workspace. Through the glass doors, the interior appeared to have a minimalist, modern design, though the exact number of workstations and layout could not be assessed due to restricted access. Notably, the company logo was visible at the reception area.  The team documented the scene by photographing the reception desk and signage from the corridor for verification purposes.

Through the on-site investigation, it is confirmed that SUNWAH KINGSWAY maintains a physical presence at the above address.

Conclusion

The survey team went to Hong Kong, China to visit broker SUNWAH KINGSWAY as scheduled and found the company at its regulatory address.  It denotes that the broker has a physical office at the place. Meanwhile, investors are advised to make a well-considered decision following much deliberation.
