Purpose
The UK foreign exchange market is a long-established and highly developed international forex market. Since the 19th century, leveraging its advantageous geographical location, well-developed financial system, and extensive trading experience, it has become one of the core hubs for global foreign exchange trading. To help investors or practitioners gain a more comprehensive understanding of forex brokers in this region, the on-site inspection team traveled to the UK for a field visit.
Process
The team went to the UK to conduct an on-site visit to the forex broker Markets Act. According to public information, its office address is 207 Regent Street, Suite 8, Third Floor, W1B 3HH London, Western Europe, United Kingdom.
A professional and experienced team, driven by a sense of mission to strictly vet for investors, proceeded according to a meticulous plan to the target area in the UK. They conducted an on-site verification of the broker Markets Act, which claims to be located at this address.
The inspection team arrived at the target building, which is located in a bustling area of West London, with a prosperous surrounding environment and a strong commercial atmosphere. However, no signage or any relevant information about the company was found on the exterior of the building.
The inspection team attempted to enter the building lobby and explained their purpose to the security personnel. After communication, permission to enter was not granted. During the exchange with the security guard, it was learned that the company Markets Act is not present in the building.
As entry into the building was not possible, the team could not reach the target floor to confirm the status of Markets Act's office area, nor could they further observe and photograph the related office scenes.
The inspection team found no information about this broker, judging it to be false. Therefore, after the on-site inspection, it was confirmed that the broker Markets Act does not exist at the aforementioned address.
Conclusion
According to the plan, a physical visit was made to the forex broker Markets Act at its publicly displayed business address in the UK, where no information such as the broker's company name was visible, indicating that the broker does not have a genuine business premises. Investors are advised to make their choice after comprehensive consideration.
