The Financial markets Authority (FMA) is a New Zealand government agency responsible for enforcing securities, financial reporting and company law as they apply to financial services and securities markets. The FMA also regulates securities exchanges, financial advisers and brokers, auditors, trustees and issuers - including issuers of KiwiSaver and superannuation schemes. It jointly oversees designated settlement systems in New Zealand, with the Reserve Bank of New Zealand (RBNZ). FMA is a member of New Zealand’s Council of Financial Regulators.

We received a report from a New Zealand resident who invested with IOS Investments Limited as a result of a link to an interview involving a high profile New Zealander investing in bitcoin with IOS Investments Limited. One of the individuals mentioned in the link has stated in a media report they are not involved with bitcoin. These individuals have been mentioned in a similar complaint which we have published a warning about. We urge investors to exercise caution when relying on articles featuring high profile New Zealanders to invest in Cryptocurrencies.
