The Financial Services Authority was established on November 12, 2012 by an Act of Parliament, the Financial Services Authority Act, which established a single regulatory unit with the responsibility of regulating certain entities and businesses in the financial sector and provides for regulated matters. The Financial Services Authority was created by Parliament to institute a new system to manage, direct control and supervise the international financial services industry and domestic non-bank institutions in this country.

The St. Vincent and the Grenadines Financial Services Authority (the Authority) advises that an entity called Flab Group Ltd. which is the purported operator of the website Fortexo.co, is not and was never licensed, registered or regulated in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. Documents or information provided by this company which indicate that it is registered, incorporated or licensed in St. Vincent and the Grenadines or is in any way affiliated with the Authority are false or fraudulent. The entity’s claim that it is licensed in St. Vincent and the Grenadines to provide banking activities, is false. Furthermore, the corporate address provided by Flab Group Ltd. on its website Fortexco.co is false. This entity is not affiliated with any address in St. Vincent and the Grenadines. The Authority strongly advises that persons should not engage in business with this entity as they may be subject to fraud.
