Abstract:FxPro has added weekend trading for gold, silver, WTI crude oil, natural gas and the Nasdaq index, with positions carried into corresponding weekday instruments when regular markets reopen.

FxPro has introduced weekend trading for five CFD instruments, covering gold, silver, WTI crude oil, natural gas and the Nasdaq index.
The contracts are available through MT5 in selected jurisdictions and operate separately from the brokers standard weekday instruments.
Positions opened during the weekend are not automatically closed when regular market hours resume.
Instead, FxPro said open positions will be transferred to the corresponding weekday instruments when the underlying markets reopen.
The broker has not set a limit on the number of weekend positions that can be opened.
The arrangement means weekend pricing and weekday pricing are handled through separate instruments, even though positions can continue from one session into the next.
The main difference from conventional CFD trading is that several of the underlying markets are closed during much of the weekend.
As a result, weekend prices may be formed under different liquidity conditions from those seen during the normal trading week.
This can affect spreads, available depth and price movements, particularly for products such as crude oil and equity indices where the primary market is not trading continuously.
Weekend access therefore does not mean that trading conditions are identical to those available during the regular session.
FxPro states that the weekend products are available only in certain jurisdictions.
The broker operates through multiple legal entities, so the instruments available to an account may depend on the entity and regulatory framework under which that account is opened.
