As a global broker regulatory query platform, WikiFX assesses brokers using indicators such as licensing, transparency, and exposure reports submitted by users.

According to WikiFX, the MONAXA broker currently holds a WikiScore of 3.62 out of 10, placing it within a low tier among brokers listed on the platform. The score has been further reduced due to a high volume of unresolved client complaints. WikiFX has also flagged the broker with a High Potential Risk label, which traders evaluating the broker MONAXA should factor carefully into any assessment.

Overview of MONAXA broker

MONAXA operates as an online financial provider offering forex, metals, indices, energies, stock CFDs, and cryptocurrencies across MT4, MT5, and cTrader platforms. Registered offshore, the MONAXA broker targets retail traders worldwide, with a notable presence across Asia and Southeast Asia.

Regulatory Status of MONAXA Regulation and Licences

MONAXA broker holds a Derivatives Trading Licence from the Financial Sector Conduct Authority of South Africa under licence number 53184, under the entity MONAXA SA (PTY) LTD. A securities trading licence from the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius under licence number GB23201577 is also listed for Monaxa Ltd.

Warnings from Major Regulators

However, a thorough MONAXA review cannot treat these licences at face value. Both CySEC and Japan's FSA have issued warnings against the broker. CySEC flagged monaxa.com as an unauthorised entity in January and August 2025. Japan's FSA listed Monaxa Ltd as an unregistered entity engaged in financial instruments business in December 2024. These regulatory disclosures from major authorities significantly undermine confidence in the overall regulation MONAXA compliance posture, regardless of its offshore licences.

Field Survey: No Office Found in Australia

A WikiFX field survey conducted on 20 March 2024 visited the stated regulatory address of MONAXA at 408 Pitt Street, Haymarket, NSW 2000 in Sydney, Australia. Upon arrival, the survey team found no signage, directory listing, or indication of the presence of the MONAXA broker in the building. Staff within the premises confirmed they had never heard of the company. The investigation concluded that MONAXA has no verifiable physical presence at its declared address.

The absence of an operational office at a listed address is a serious concern in any review MONAXA assessment, as physical presence is widely considered an indicator of operational transparency.

User Complaints and Exposure Reports

WikiFX has recorded a total of seven user complaints against MONAXA. Several Malaysian users have submitted exposure reports outlining serious issues. One user alleged that the MONAXA broker manipulated prices during a high impact news event in a way they had never experienced with other platforms. Another reported that profits were wiped from their account with no explanation, and that the broker accused them of account abuse without substantiation. A third user described waiting over four days for a deposit to be credited, with support tickets going unanswered throughout.

A Vietnam based user reported that after completing a video identity verification as requested, the broker proceeded to cancel all their trading profits and returned only the principal amount.

On the other side, some users (primarily from the Middle East) have reported smooth execution, responsive customer support, and successful small withdrawal tests. These contrasting accounts reflect a divided user base, with sentiment running roughly split between positive feedback, neutral experiences, and severe exposure reports.

Account Types and Trading Conditions for Broker MONAXA

The broker MONAXA offers four account types. The Standard and Cent accounts carry a minimum deposit of fifteen US dollars, while the Pro account requires fifty US dollars and the Zero ECN account requires two hundred US dollars. Leverage ranges from 1:500 on the ECN account up to 1:2,000 on Standard and Pro accounts.

The MONAXA broker supports MT4, MT5, and cTrader, including cTrader Copy for copy trading. Trading instruments span forex, metals, indices, energies, stock CFDs, and cryptocurrencies depending on the account type.

Conclusion: Final Review MONAXA Verdict

This MONAXA review outlines a broker that carries a low WikiScore of 3.62, active regulatory warnings from CySEC and Japan's FSA, a failed physical office verification in Australia, and a significant volume of unresolved user complaints relating to withdrawal restrictions, profit deductions, and unresponsive support.

While an FSCA and FSC licence are listed, these are materially offset by the official warnings issued by major financial regulators. Traders, particularly those evaluating MONAXA regulation in Malaysia and Southeast Asia, where the broker MONAXA appears to have notable reach, are strongly advised to exercise extreme caution and conduct thorough due diligence before engaging with MONAXA.
