Abstract:Triton Capital Markets, previously operating as FXDD Malta, has voluntarily given up its MFSA investment services licence, ending the entity’s regulated presence in Malta and its former EEA passporting route.

Triton Capital Markets Ltd. has voluntarily surrendered its investment services licence in Malta, bringing its regulated operations under the Malta Financial Services Authority to an end.
The company originally entered the jurisdiction in 2010 under the FXDD Malta name. The MFSA said the licence withdrawal was initiated by the firm and was not the result of regulatory enforcement.
The Malta licence had allowed the company to provide investment services across parts of the European Economic Area through passporting arrangements.
That route is no longer available to Triton following the surrender.
Regulatory records also show that some cross-border permissions had already ended before the final withdrawal, including its registered ability to provide services in Belgium.
The change concerns Triton Capital Markets only. Other legal entities using the FXDD name are subject to their own registrations and regulatory status.
Older FXDD pages have continued to display references to the Malta licence and European cross-border authorization.
Those pages now reflect historical information rather than Tritons current regulatory position.
This creates a distinction between the brokers legacy website content and the latest regulatory record. Users checking FXDD through WikiFX can review the entities and licence information associated with the broker to see which authorizations remain current.
