Abstract:Plus500 has joined the Bahamas Institute of FX & CFD Issuers, an industry association representing licensed forex and CFD firms operating in The Bahamas.

Plus500 has become a member of the Bahamas Institute of FX & CFD Issuers (BIFCI), adding another international broker to the industry group.
BIFCI was established earlier in 2026 as a not-for-profit association for licensed forex and CFD firms operating in The Bahamas.
The association works with firms active in the local forex and CFD sector and maintains dialogue with the Securities Commission of The Bahamas.
Its stated areas of focus include regulatory engagement, consumer protection, market standards and industry coordination.
Plus500s membership adds another regulated brokerage group to the association as The Bahamas continues to attract international forex and CFD businesses using the jurisdiction for offshore operations.
The Bahamas has developed into a significant licensing location for forex and CFD providers serving international clients.
The countrys regulatory framework allows licensed firms to operate under the supervision of the Securities Commission of The Bahamas, while industry groups such as BIFCI provide a separate channel for communication between market participants and local authorities.
Membership in BIFCI does not replace regulatory authorization. Firms operating in the jurisdiction remain subject to the licensing and compliance requirements imposed by the Bahamian regulator.
