BYBIT Review: Unregulated Broker Warning After Withdrawal Complaints and Forex Profit Disputes

WikiFX | 2026-08-10 11:00

Abstract:BYBIT carries a critical risk signal: our investigation found no financial regulatory record for this broker, while users report frozen funds, rejected withdrawals, profit deductions, and blocked account access. Traders should treat this as a high-risk environment before sending any money.

A trader in China said they deposited 45,000 dollars into a BYBIT MT5 account, shorted gold, made about 7,400 dollars, and then watched the withdrawal get refused. The profit, according to the complaint, was deducted.

That is the central pattern in this BYBIT review. Traders do not only describe losses. They describe profits being blocked, accounts being frozen, deductions appearing after “violations,” and support failing to resolve the damage.

Our investigation reveals a sharper danger behind these complaints: BYBIT is listed as a Mauritius-based broker established in 2019, but no valid financial regulation was found. That matters. When a broker controls the platform, the wallet, the MT5 access, and the withdrawal gate, regulation is the line between a dispute and a dead end.

BYBIT Regulation Audit: No Regulator Found, Complaints Rising

The regulatory picture is not complicated. It is worse than that. The available broker profile shows no relevant financial institution regulation for BYBIT.

RegulatorLicense TypeREAL STATUS
No regulator foundNot availableUnregulated / no financial regulatory information found

This is the core risk. BYBIT shows an influence rank of AAA, but the WikiFX score is only 2.07. The profile also warns that 12 user complaints were received in the past three months.

A big online presence does not replace supervision. A mobile app does not replace a license. A support email does not replace a regulator with enforcement power.

The broker profile lists a self-developed platform and MT5, with mobile support on Android and iOS. It also states that Windows, MacOS, Web, and other applications are not supported. For traders in fast-moving Forex or gold markets, that creates a narrow operating environment: mobile-first, platform-controlled, and difficult to independently verify when disputes arise.

BYBIT Broker Complaints: Profits Blocked, Funds Frozen, Withdrawals Denied

The most urgent complaints involve withdrawal failure.

One user from Jordan reported making 14,000 dollars, withdrawing 8,400, and then being unable to withdraw about 7,466 remaining profit. That is not a small inconvenience. It is the moment when a traders balance becomes a number on a screen instead of usable money.

A user from Venezuela wrote that their money was frozen and that they could not withdraw or make movements. Short. Direct. Alarming.

Another China-based complaint claimed the account was subjected to a deduction of 26,638.55 dollars for alleged violations, with withdrawal blocked. The user said they did not know what violation had occurred and alleged they were asked to deposit more money.

This is a recurring pressure point in broker disputes: the “violation” label. Once a platform says a trader violated rules, it can justify freezing profits, deleting trades, or delaying withdrawals. Without clear regulation, the trader is forced to argue inside the brokers own system.

BYBIT Forex Review: Gold Trading Disputes Raise Severe Questions

Several complaints specifically mention gold or gold Forex trading.

One trader said they believed trading gold through an exchange would be safer, but later reported that 300,000 dollars could not be withdrawn. The complaint does not provide extra transaction detail, but the amount alone makes it a serious exposure signal.

Another user said they joined a gold and Forex trading rebate activity a year earlier. They claimed they traded 500 lots, received no commission rebate, and lost 10,000 dollars. This complaint was filed in 2025, so we are not inserting a current-year visual placeholder for it, but the allegation supports the broader pattern: marketing promises, trading activity, and unresolved money disputes.

A Colombia-based user also reported losing 550,000 Colombian pesos and then 650,000 Colombian pesos, saying they were misled in connection with paying for gold. The data does not prove the full mechanics of that case, but it adds another gold-linked complaint to the file.

The issue is not simply whether a trader won or lost. Retail traders accept market risk. What they cannot accept is withdrawal risk after the trade is already closed.

BYBIT Login Issues and Blocked Access: When the Account Becomes the Trap

Login trouble is not only about forgotten passwords. In one 2026 complaint, a user said normal pending-order trading turned into severe slippage after profits grew, and then the entire account was blocked. The user also claimed the wallet funds were blocked and their own capital could not be used.

That is why BYBIT login and account-access risk must be treated seriously. If a trader cannot access the account, cannot move the wallet funds, and cannot withdraw, the platform becomes the choke point.

The broker software profile also notes that the tested MT5 setup lacks safer login features such as two-step login and biometric authentication. That is a platform-safety concern. It does not prove wrongdoing, but it does weaken the overall protection picture for mobile-first users.

For everyday traders, the danger is simple. You may be able to enter the market quickly. You may be able to place trades. But the true test is whether you can leave with your funds.

Customer Support Is Not a Substitute for Regulation

BYBIT lists customer service across many languages, including Arabic, English, Spanish, Indonesian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Vietnamese, and Simplified Chinese. Contact methods include social platforms, email, phone, and messaging channels.

That sounds broad. But the complaints show a different stress test.

A Kazakhstan-based user reported that 1,620 USDT was transferred to a Web3 wallet and then to the platform, with addresses allegedly copied correctly. The transfer was shown as successful, but the money did not arrive on the platform, according to the complaint. The user said support first questioned the funds, then changed the explanation, and later stopped responding.

An Indonesia-based user reported that a deposit did not arrive from morning until night. An Argentina-based user said withdrawals were prohibited after transfers made for investment through an app.

These reports are not identical. But they point in the same direction: users trying to recover access to money, while the resolution process appears slow, unclear, or ineffective.

Key Red Flags Traders Cannot Ignore

  • No financial regulation found for BYBIT in the available broker record.
  • 12 complaints in the past three months according to the broker profile warning.
  • Multiple withdrawal complaints, including frozen funds, rejected withdrawals, and alleged profit deductions.
  • Account-access risk, including a 2026 complaint alleging blocked account and wallet funds.

Is BYBIT Broker Safe for Retail Traders?

Based on the available evidence, BYBIT presents a high-risk profile for retail traders using Forex, gold, MT5, or mobile trading channels. The most serious concern is the combination of no detected financial regulation and repeated user complaints involving withdrawals.

The broker has been operating since 2019 and shows wide international influence. But age and visibility do not erase the risk. A low WikiFX score, no regulator record, and recent complaints about frozen funds should make any trader pause.

Before depositing, traders should ask one hard question: if the broker refuses a withdrawal, who forces it to pay?

For BYBIT, our investigation found no regulatory answer. That is the warning.
