OROKU EDGE Review: Blacklisted by SCM Malaysia and Users Report Frozen Funds

WikiFX | 2026-07-31 17:00

Abstract:OROKU EDGE has been blacklisted by Malaysia's Securities Commission for unlicensed capital market activities. Users across Southeast Asia report frozen accounts and withdrawal blocks, with a WikiFX score of 1.51 reflecting these serious concerns.

OROKU EDGE is a CFD broker registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, an offshore jurisdiction with no local financial regulator overseeing forex brokers. More importantly, the platform has been blacklisted by the Securities Commission Malaysia (SCM) for conducting unlicensed capital market activities, and a growing number of users across Southeast and South Asia have filed complaints about frozen accounts and blocked withdrawals. This article examines what the data shows so that you can assess the risks before depositing funds.

Complaint Pattern: Withdrawals Blocked, Accounts Frozen, and Silence from Support

The most consistent thread across user complaints filed against OROKU EDGE is an inability to withdraw funds. The pattern is remarkably similar across different countries and timeframes.

A Malaysian user reported in July 2026 that the platform had frozen their account and refused to process a withdrawal payment, warning other Malaysians to stay away. According to the complaint, the user's account was frozen without explanation and their payment was never released.

A Vietnamese trader described depositing funds into OROKU EDGE in September 2025 without participating in any bonus programs. When they needed the money urgently, the withdrawal request was met with repeated excuses and delays. According to the complaint, despite numerous attempts to contact the broker, the user's deposit was never returned.

According to a complaint filed from Pakistan in late 2025, OROKU EDGE confiscated all of the user's trading profits and refused to refund the initial deposit. The complaint states that the account was flagged for “abuse” without explanation, and the broker stopped responding to both emails and live chat messages. The user also alleged that the platform uses fake positive reviews to attract new traders.

Additional complaints from Bangladesh, Thailand, and Indonesia follow the same pattern: traders deposit funds, trade, and when they attempt to withdraw, the requests remain pending indefinitely or are denied outright. Several users report being blocked from accessing their accounts after persistently following up.

Regulatory Warnings: SCM Malaysia Has Issued Multiple Alerts

The Securities Commission Malaysia has placed OROKU EDGE on its Investor Alert List more than once.

The most recent entry, dated April 2024, identifies OROKU EDGE as carrying on unlicensed capital market activities of dealing in securities. The SCM explicitly warns that investors who deal with unauthorised entities will not be protected under Malaysian securities laws.

An earlier alert from 2023 similarly lists OROKU EDGE as an unauthorised entity engaged in unlicensed dealing in securities, with the regulator advising the public not to deal with or invest through the platform.

These are not minor administrative notices. Being placed on the SCM Investor Alert List means the regulator has determined that this entity is soliciting Malaysian investors without holding the required licences, and that anyone dealing with OROKU EDGE does so outside the protections of Malaysia's capital markets framework.

The broker's WikiFX company profile describes it as offshore regulated by the Mwali International Services Authority (MISA) in Comoros under licence number BFX2024181. However, WikiFX records show no verified regulatory licences for this broker, and a Comoros offshore licence typically provides weaker investor protection compared to major regulatory regimes. Traders should independently verify any claimed licence before relying on it.

Basic Information

OROKU EDGE operates under Oroku Edge LLC, registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The platform offers CFD trading across forex, indices, precious metals, energies, and cryptocurrencies through MT4 and MT5. It advertises extremely high leverage and low minimum deposits, which are aggressive marketing terms that often appeal to retail traders but also signal elevated risk.

According to its WikiFX profile, the company lists a business address at Tamarind Square, Cyberjaya, Selangor in Malaysia, and maintains multiple websites including orokuedgeglobal.com, orokuedgemarkets.com, and orokuedge.com. Operating from a Malaysian address while being blacklisted by the SCM for unlicensed activities is a red flag that traders in Malaysia should weigh carefully.

WikiFX Score: 1.51 , What This Means

OROKU EDGE holds a WikiFX score of 1.51 out of 10, placing it in the lowest tier of rated brokers. This score reflects the absence of verified regulatory licences, the presence of regulatory warnings from SCM Malaysia, and the volume of unresolved withdrawal complaints spanning multiple years.

A score in this range indicates serious structural concerns. It is not a minor dip caused by a handful of isolated complaints; it reflects a pattern that has persisted over time and across jurisdictions.

Final Thoughts

The evidence available points in one direction: OROKU EDGE presents multiple, overlapping risk signals that any trader should take seriously. The SCM blacklisting is an official regulatory action, not a rumour or a single-user grievance. The withdrawal complaints, filed by users in Malaysia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Thailand, and Indonesia, follow a consistent template: deposit accepted, withdrawal denied. The WikiFX score of 1.51 mirrors these findings.

If you are considering trading with OROKU EDGE, verify the SCM Investor Alert List directly on the regulator's website. Test withdrawals with the smallest possible amount before committing larger deposits, and use the WikiFX App to monitor real-time scores and new complaints as they appear. Your diligence now can save you from the kind of frozen-account scenario that multiple users have already reported.
