Abstract：At the end of the Asian market on Wednesday (December 6), a series of recent data released by the US all showed that the job market is increasingly cooling. Balancing between price stability and a slowdown in the labor market has been the core of the Fed's 18 month anti inflation action.
At the end of the Asian market on Wednesday (December 6), a series of recent data released by the US all showed that the job market is increasingly cooling. Balancing between price stability and a slowdown in the labor market has been the core of the Fed's 18 month anti inflation action. However, the further slowdown in the US labor market has have dropped investors' expectations for another rate hike by the Fed to freezing. The data released overnight showed that the number of US October JOLTs vacancies decreased to 8.733 million, significantly lower than the expected 9.3 million and the lowest point since March 2021. In October, the number of job vacancies in JOLTs decreased by 617000, a decrease of 6.6%, resulting in an average of 1.34 positions per unemployed person. This ratio is the lowest level since August 2021, almost returning to the pre-pandemic state, much lower than the 1:2 ratio of a few months ago. The data for September has also been revised downwards, from 9.55 million to 9.35 million. The US dollar index fluctuated slightly at the opening of the Asian market today, with a current price of 103.98. Gold was affected by the Fed's policy expectations and experienced significant fluctuations today. Yesterday, it rose and then fell in the market, and finally closed near the intraday low.
