FCA's Warning over "Clone Firm"

UKs Watchdog Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) said on 04 Dec, 2023 about a clone firm called Guardian Invest. This firm is not authorised by us but has been contacting people pretending to be an authorised firm. Below are the details of the Clone firm.

The Authority officially said on its website that Fraudsters copy the details of firms we authorise to try and convince people that their firm is genuine. Almost all firms and individuals must be authorised by us to carry out or promote financial services in the UK.

The FCA advised people to not invest with this clone firm. FCA has also reminded investors to be vigilant when dealing with forex brokers and to conduct proper due diligence before investing any money. Investors should check the FCA's register of authorized firms to ensure that the broker they are dealing with is legitimate.
