AUM at Monex Asset Management Exceeds 100 Billion Yen

Abstract:Monex Asset Management, Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of Monex Group, Inc, announced that assets under management surpassed 100 billion yen on November 18, 2022, almost doubling from the end of October 2021.

Monex Asset Management's assets under management will surpass 75 billion yen on September 13, 2022, as previously announced.

Aside from Monex's “ON COMPASS” and “ON COMPASS+” businesses, discretionary investment management services and fund management for institutional investors and enterprises also contributed significantly to the growth in assets under management.

Monex Asset Management believes that enhancing asset management alternatives for our stakeholders will contribute to a more prosperous society. Monex Asset Management intends to continue providing high-quality asset management services to realize the visions of its customers and partners for the future.

Monex Asset Management's primary business is discretionary robo-advisors, which use a goal-based approach to asset management, and it offers the four principal services listed below.

ON THE MAP

A discretionary investment management solution appropriate for long-term investments, with all processes, including the contract, done online. The service uses a one-of-a-kind investing methodology based on financial engineering and offers comprehensive risk management. Customers with considerable financial experience, as well as newcomers, make extensive use of the service.

ABOUT COMPASS+

A hybrid approach of discretionary investing service combines online and in-person help. Face-to-face assistance is given in collaboration with the collaborating financial institutions. ON COMPASS+ is now offered via five business partners.

Monex Activist Fund Asset Management

Based on investment advice supplied by Japan Catalyst, Inc., a fully owned subsidiary of Monex Group, Inc., Monex Asset Management administers activist funds such as the “Monex Activist Fund,” a public investment trust, and the “Japan Catalyst Fund,” a private fund for general investors. It aspires to help both individual investors and businesses by encouraging a more open and comprehensive interaction approach.

Management of funds for institutional and corporate investors

Monex Asset Management creates and manages tailored funds for customers such as financial institutions, businesses, and foundations.
