Account Types

There are two live trading accounts offered by IX Securities, apart from demo accounts, namely ECN and STP accounts. However, the minimum initial deposit amount to open an account is not specified.

Leverage

A leverage ratio of up to 1:500 is offered by IX Securities, which is much higher than that provided by most brokers. Inexperienced traders are advised not to use too much leverage due to the fact that leverage magnifies gains and losses.

Spreads & Commissions

IX Securities claims that different account types can experience different spreads. The ECN account can enjoy raw spreads as low as 0 pips, while the STP account can experience spreads from 1.2 pips. Deposit & Withdrawal

IX Securities says to accept deposits and withdrawals via Visa and MasterCard, as well as bank transfers and some e-wallets such as Neteller, Skrill and UnionPay. The broker also charges some withdrawal handling fees. Withdrawals with Skrill and Neteller will be charged a handling fee of $15. The UnionPay withdrawal fee is $15 if the withdrawal amount is less than $50, while free for withdrawals over $50. The broker will charge Bank transfer withdrawals $15, and bank charges are subject to each bank. As for the processing time of withdrawal requests, withdrawals via Skrill and Neteller require 1-7 working days to process, while 1-5 working days for UnionPay, and 3-5 working days for Bank transfer withdrawals.
