According to forex traders, the uncertainty prevailing around the India-US trade deal has affected the forex market, putting the rupee in a tight trading range. The local currency’s upward movement was restricted owing to foreign fund outflows and a negative domestic equity market trend. At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee made an opening of 86.33 against the greenback before touching an intra-day high of 86.24 and a low of 86.42 before closing at 86.40.
