The ADP report, prepared by ADP Research and the Standard Digital Economy Lab, revealed that the private sector across the US saw 33,000 job losses during June 2025. Service sectors witnessed the highest job loss. 66,000 employees lost their jobs in the service sector. Professional and business services saw 56,000 job losses. Even education and health services saw job losses. However, the leisure and hospitality sector saw job additions. Job additions also happened across trade/transport/utilities, information, and other services.
