Hello FXGearheads, As many of you know, I run this site in my spare time and at my own cost. As the site gained popularity, and with the added chat feature, the cost of running the site has grown (both in hard cost and time.) The chat alone counts for a noticeable portion of the costs given how it's implemented, hence why it has yet to be added to the main menu or promoted as a feature. So to help keep the site open and running, I will be experimenting with monetization (ads.) To be clear: This is to cover the site's operational costs, and to help grow the site (through hiring of developers to add new features as the requirement arises.) This will also serve to promote the chat as well, as any additional hosting cost would be covered as the chat room usage grows. I encourage everyone who dislikes this idea to install Adblock for Chrome or Firefox (if you use Edge browser, you deserve to see ads anyway.)
