Edge Markets, a trading name of Edge Markets Ltd, is allegedly a suspicious regulated forex broker registered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines since 1997. The broker claims to provide its clients with 300 tradable financial instruments with leverage up to 1:500 and variable spreads from 0 pips on the industry-standard MetaTrader5 trading platform, as well as a choice of three different account types and 24/5 customer support service.

Account Types

There are three live trading accounts offered by Edge Markets, namely Classic (for beginners), Pro (for advanced traders) and Platinum (for professional traders). Opening a Classic account requires the minimum initial deposit amount of $100, while the other two account types have much higher minimum initial capital requirements of $10,000 and $20,000 respectively.

Leverage

A leverage ratio of up to 1:500 is offered by Edge Markets, which is much higher than that provided by most brokers. Inexperienced traders are advised not to use too much leverage since leverage magnifies gains and losses.

Spreads & Commissions

Edge Markets claims that different account types can enjoy quite different spreads. Specifically, the spread on the Classic account is fixed, while the Pro account members can experience variable spreads from 1.7 pips and only the Platinum holders can enjoy raw spreads from 0 pips. As for commissions, there is a 0% commission on stocks CFDs, while $3 per lot for forex, metals, indices and oil.

Trading Platform Available

The platform available for trading at Edge Markets is the worlds most widely-used MetaTrader5, compatible with Webtrader, Android, desktop and Mac devices.
