Unfair cancellation of contest profits due to misleading categorization
Assessment:
I placed 4th in the Lucky Trader contest and received a prize of $250 USD. Using the prize funds, I traded XAUUSD and made a profit of $1,034. However, InstaForex cancelled my withdrawal, citing a violation of Clause 6.8 (trading of non-Forex instruments) because I had traded XAUUSD (Gold).
This is a complete contradiction. I have irrefutable proof that InstaForex officially classifies and publishes technical analysis for XAUUSD within the "Forex Analysis" section (/pt/forex_analysis/) of its official portal. The company's own website leads traders to view XAUUSD as part of the Forex environment.
Punishing a client for an ambiguity created by the broker itself is entirely unfair. I demand a manual review by the Compliance department and the reinstatement of my hard-earned $1,034 profit.
